The Challenge

When Danielle Belmont joined Future B2B as Senior Product Manager, the team was facing a critical problem: their webinar technology was becoming obsolete.

"We were grappling with outdated technology that was quickly nearing obsolete," Danielle explains. The situation had become increasingly dire as their legacy webinar platform had been passed through multiple acquisitions. With each change of ownership, the platform changed hands but the technology didn't evolve. "There were no new feature releases or anything on the platform that we were actually using."

Future B2B connects buyers and sellers in the B2B space. Their mission was clear: deliver valuable educational content to their audience while generating high-quality leads for their customers. Webinars are central to this mission, but their legacy platform was holding them back. How could they position themselves as lead generation experts when their own technology platform looked dated and felt clunky?

"Our goal during evaluation was crystal clear: find the ultimate webinar platform that not only met our current needs, but also unleashed a wave of new features to skyrocket client engagement."

The Solution

API integration became the deciding factor in Future B2B's platform search.

"It definitely got Goldcast on the top couple vendors that we were looking at," Danielle says, " there are several technology providers in the industry that don't actually have true API integration, so having the APIs and the webhooks in place definitely put Goldcast above other providers.”

Once they started using Goldcast, they discovered the value extended far beyond technical capabilities.

Goldcast completely transformed how Future B2B executed events. The customizable branding gave their webinars a professional polish that reflected the quality of their content. The engagement tools, particularly the non-intrusive polling and ticker features, allowed them to create dynamic experiences without disrupting the presentation flow.

"Historically, for polling, we would have to interrupt the entire presentation to do a poll, and we also couldn't do polls in a prerecorded session," Danielle explains. Now they can run polls seamlessly on the side of the presentation without forcing them to center stage, giving speakers flexibility in how they use the feature.

The Backstage Speaker Communications Tool

This feature changed how Future B2B manages live events. "Historically, if we needed to communicate with a presenter, we had to frantically interrupt the entire presentation, and the audience would hear us," Danielle recalls. "But now we've become sort of like the voice of god, whispering instructions directly into their ears. It helps put the customer and the Ops team at ease during a live event."

The Ticker

For a business model built on customer programs, the ticker provides invaluable real-time engagement. Future B2B’s customers often want to share messages or CTAs during sessions, and the ticker allows them to run across the screen where attendees can click and take action without interrupting the main presentation.

Simulive Capabilities

The Future B2B Team doesn’t host a ton of fully pre-recorded webinars, but the flexibility to mix pre-recorded content with live Q&A has streamlined production while maintaining authenticity. Most of the time, they're pre-recording some of the content and then playing it back semi-live with live Q&A. This approach gives them the polish of pre-recorded content with the engagement of live interaction.

Content Lab

While Future B2B has an in-house video team, Danielle sees enormous potential in Content Lab's AI-powered repurposing capabilities, especially for those who aren’t tech savvy, as there’s minimal handholding needed. "My favorite part is the ability to take one piece of content and effortlessly generate multiple assets with just a few clicks via the AI generation tool: top takeaways, blog posts, video clips that it recommends. Long term, I think that's going to be a huge time saver."

Results and Impact

Dramatic Attendance Improvements

Since fully migrating to Goldcast in February 2025, Future B2B has seen a 10% increase in overall attendance percentage. "I firmly believe that is thanks to the brilliant and automatic add-to-calendar feature," Danielle says. "As soon as someone registers, Goldcast conveniently sends them a calendar invite, making it super easy for the attendees to join."

For a team running 500 webinars annually (nearly 10 every single week), a 10% attendance lift translates to thousands of additional engaged attendees connecting with their customers' content.

Exceptional Attendee Satisfaction

  • 94% found the content informative
  • 94.77 average NPS score across all key performance indicators
  • 96% of attendees rated webinars as very useful and would attend future webinars

The numbers tell a compelling story about audience reception. "We've implemented a survey, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, especially around the chat feature and adding emojis and commentary throughout the session," Danielle explains. "That's been super helpful from the perspective of painting color and not just a number value. It offers a deeper connection to our audience."

Customer Enthusiasm for Goldcast

It's not just attendees who are noticing the difference. Future B2B's customers have explicitly called out the platform upgrade in their feedback.

One customer shared: "We're happy with the new platform and format, the quality and quantity of leads, as well as the promotion of the webinar to help get our name out there as SMEs."

"Not only are attendees finding it valuable because they can go in there and chat and engage," Danielle notes, "but also our customers are finding it super easy and user-friendly, and really appreciate the new UI."

Partnership That Extends the Team

Beyond the technology, Future B2B has found a strategic partner in their Customer Success Manager, Erika. "Erika is almost like an extension of my team," Danielle explains. "She’s anticipating my needs before I even know that I need them.”

Erika proactively reviews their events and suggests ways to leverage features they might be underutilizing or apply them more creatively.

"It's super nice to have someone else where I'm focused on a million other things and she's strictly focused on the execution of my programs. She's throwing ideas at me that I haven't even thought about, and I can take them back to the team and see where we can enhance our offering."

What's Next

Looking ahead, Future B2B is focused on deepening audience engagement. "I'm looking forward to exploring breakout rooms and expanding upon the general standard sixty-minute session," Danielle shares.”I don't want it to be another Zoom call. I want it to be intimate.”

They're really trying to move into deeper audience engagement and have the audience be part of the conversation. By offering some of these smaller breakouts following a presentation, it would not only help those audience members feel engaged and connected, but it'll also help qualify the lead further for their customers.

The success with Future B2B’s core webinar program has sparked interest across the broader Future organization. They recently ran their corporate town hall and award show on Goldcast with positive feedback.

They've also created industry-specific video hubs as sales enablement tools, providing a centralized location where sales teams can direct prospects to relevant examples and content.

With 500 webinars annually and growing use cases across business units, Future B2B has found a platform that can scale with their ambitions while continuing to deliver the professional, engaging experiences their audiences and customers expect.
